With a view to enhance ecological knowledge among the students and community, TKM proposed in 2017, the development of biodiversity rich ecozones in its own premises. These zones serve as a knowledge repository and provide practical knowledge on ecological aspects to the students. EXPERIENCE THE PROBLEM/ PHENOMENON 01 02 03 04 Creating awareness among the students as well as communities on issues of ecological conservation, is the key intent of TKM behind this initiative. Future aspirations include involving other stakeholder such as universities, communities, industrial bodies and other corporates in promoting the eco-spirit and motivate them to adopt sustainable practices directly and indirectly as away of life. 12,675 Students and 24,968 family members reached, through Ecozone initiative. In FY 2020-21, nearly 4664 students and 8,946 family members were reached A total of 17 theme parks established under this imitative provide experiential learning to students, broadening their horizons on ecological learning beyond the classrooms.
